Driving photos yes!
But, first a standard view photo:
And second, a photo that should have been in the previous entry of this substack:
This shows how few people were at the canal side park at 3:00 PM when it is the hottest and most humid. That’s the K family China car, btw.
Any who! Photos I took after I drove my son to his boxing class:
Apartment towers and overpasses.
The driver of the white car did a poor job of making a u-turn. Again, the locals proceed without awareness of people around them. I could wax swearingly about how local drivers will make u-turns at the most impractical times in the most imprudent and inconsiderate of manners.
The stretch of road after this traffic light is perilous. It is two lanes cut through rock, without any side lane for bikes. Impatient drivers cross over the sold center line into the other lane to pass bikes.
These are the towers at the other end of our old apartment community. Our building was a six story with no elevator.
I swear that as I drove up the ramp I showed you on a previous entry, (probably two or three entries back) the same white car that turned in front of me as I got to the top of the ramp yesterday, was at the top of the ramp today. Today, I would like to say that the driver learned a lesson, and made a point of giving wide berth to cars potentially coming up the ramp.
