For whatever reason, I can’t upload these photos to that blog. And so a habit I had for at least a year has come to a premature end. The habit was going to end on my last day in China, which is soon approaching. Maybe if the function is working again, I can resume it until the end.

My current state of mind? I tell myself to look ahead and forget about the things that made me bitter since September, 2024. I have to stay as strong as I can for my son and my Mom.

Just now, one of the grade 12 students, who added to my bitterness, asked me to agree to a grade change for his transcript. I said yes because, in the end, it just doesn’t matter. This particular kid was probably one of the least objectionable of his cohort. I wonder if I could put my foot down if one of the students who brought a pillow to my class asked me for such a change.
