As I drove my wife to work, she told me to drive carefully because the rain brings out the crazy drivers. It is commonly believed locally that a lot of e-bikers get into their cars on rainy days. A way of economizing, I would suppose.
She told me this after we saw that a driver had driven white Honda sedan boat car into a pillar in the Wanda Plaza Mall basement parking garage. The front end of the car was crumpled. This mishap, if it had occurred later in the day, would most certainly have fouled up traffic entering the mall. The car had ran into a pillar located close to the entrance to the basement parking. Traffic would have been blocked from getting into the rest of the parking area. And getting to the car with a tow truck would have been a challenge.
Apropos of nothing:
A self-described centrist is usually someone who thinks he has common sense, but in fact has embraced a heresy against common sense.
