One of the parking garage ramps.
The driving lanes in the parking basement are extremely narrow. Two cars approaching each other down there have to slow down and give each other room to pass.
The parking ramp pictured above is perilous because an exiting car has to make a quick right turn once it gets to the top — it’s basically a blind corner up there. So it is incumbent on the drivers there to stay in their lanes and proceed slowly. Do the local drivers do this? No! I’ve seen drivers riding on the center line ascending the ramp, I’ve seen drivers quickly turning onto the ramp without make a careful 90 degree turn. Just now, I was near the top of the ramp, about to get ready to exit, when a car, trying to go down, make a quick turn onto the ramp, crossing into my lane. I had to stop the car quickly (and awkwardly before getting my car to the edge) so as to not broadside the descending car. I would have loved to punch that moron driver in the face. I make a point of making a ninety degree turn so as not to cut into a path of a car that is accelerating to get up the ramp.,, These idiot neighbors don’t.
