Today, besides being near a TV showing the game 7 which was won by the Seattle Oklahoma City Super Thunder Sonics…
I played with AI.
I recorded a quote video:
This is the unfinished video. The polished one with Muzak comes later.
In the afternoon, I drove Tony to a salon and bided my time till he was done.
I first drove to a nearby mall.
It was dismal, dank, half occupied. Its atmosphere was suffocating from tawdry cheapness.
Above is a cheap countryside, fourth tier city amusement park for kids.
An apartment for Orcs. Look closely, it’s been lived in for too long.
Frog & Fish Hotpot.
I couldn’t stand the mall. So, I parked in the plaza where Tony’s salon was.. for over an hour…
I bided my time, reading TLOR. Aquinas, and letters between Merton and Milosz; and I also played Solitaire on the phone and watched traffic. Where I was parked, there was barely enough room for a car to turn from its parking spot The lane between the store front and the parking spots was barely wide enough for a car and an e-bike. When, Tony was finally done, I got stuck in a stand off as a car came down the lane that I was hoping to use to exit the shopping plaza. I had to back up because the female driver was too stupid to drive a car in reverse.
Out of the plaza, I found myself in the midst of rush hour traffic. I was stopped at a crosswalk by a policeman, so that a few hundred people could cross. Once he let me proceed, I came upon a completely snarled intersection. I must say, that with true grit on my part, I was able to negotiate my way through the confusion, twisting my way past turning cars and trucks trying to go straight as I was making a left turn. It was pure world historical heroism on my part.
